2. Guitar - There are three main style of guitar lessons that you can learn, Classical, Electric and accoustic. Although many of the things you learn will be similar there are several difference depending on what kind of guitar you have and what style you want to learn.
Electric Guitar Lessons - With Electric guitar lessons, you can learn to be more of a leaad guitarist or someone who mainly plays chords. You will also learn how to change the sound of your guitar with pedals. If you are learning to be a lead guitarist you will focus on scales that support soloing. Soloing is improvising within the song structure. Every song had a certain key and scale it is based on. So learnign the scales that work within the chord structure of songs will allow you to improvise and solo freely. Electric guitars are generally easy on the fingers and they come in all sizes. Even a 7 year old could start on an electric if its small enough. You need an amplifier with an electric guitar otherwise there is a very quiet sound. Electric guitar lessons usually focus on rock, pop, metal and indi music.
Acoustic Guitar Lessons - Accoustic guitars have a different sound and feel. You don't typically use pedals with accoustic guitars and you don't need an amplifier to hear them. They have a full body sound without amplification. Like electric guitars there are several kinds, sizes and models that you can get. You can focus on being a lead guitarist or mainly playing chords with accoustic guitar lessons.
